Why always use a bun for hotdogs?
This time we use french fries as an alternative.
Place fries on a plate. Put hot dog on top and add your favorite toppings.
Why does this work? Fresh french fries are a lot more flavorful than a store bought package of mass produced hotdog buns.

Chili and Cheese Hot Dog in Tater Skins
Hot dogs are a basic food but a lot more can be done with them. By using potato skins instead of a bun is a way to change up the old standard. Plus, it's a delicious change up. It can be messy, though so use a fork.
